The Design Process...So How Does it Work?

Initial Enquiry

The process begins with your initial enquiry, either via WhatsApp or email. We'll have a relaxed conversation about your jewellery & I'll ask you to send a few photographs along with your thoughts & ideas. If you have inspiration images, I'd love to see them! If you're unsure of exactly what you'd like, I'm excited to guide you & develop ideas together. At this stage, it's also helpful to discuss your ideal budget so that I can create design options that are both beautiful & realistic.

Design Development

If you're happy so far, we can arrange a phone call or meet in person if you are local to Yarm. I'll create initial sketches and design concepts based on our chat. For simpler redesigns I will provide a hand-drawn sketch to help you visualise the finished piece. For more complex designs and redesigns, a CAD (Computer-Aided-Design) model will be required. This allows you to see your jewellery in precise detail, including viewing different metal options & a 3D digital representation of the finished design. There is a small charge for design development. £65 for hand-drawn sketches or £80 - £175 for a CAD depending on the complexity of the design.

Design Refinement & Price

We'll refine the design until you are completely happy. Whether you're having a bespoke design or a redesign - Together we'll choose the metals, gemstones/diamonds, & finishes that bring your design to life. I'll guide you through options that suit your style and budget. Once the design is approved, I'll provide a final quotation. To begin production, a deposit is required, with the remaining balance due upon completion.

Crafting your piece

All that's left is to look forward to seeing your beautiful design! From approval of the final design this takes approximately 6 weeks but may be longer during busy periods.

Delivery & Aftercare

Once checked by me. I will package your jewellery beautifully & arrange either Special Delivery post or if you are local to Yarm you can collect from me or arrange a personal hand delivery! I offer ongoing support for cleaning, repairs & resizing as needed. All that's left is to enjoy your new jewellery!
